Generation runs on our servers, not on your phone, so closing the app does not stop it — reopen Overdub and check your Library before starting again. A track that is still processing after about ten minutes has failed, and failed generations do not consume a credit.
If the same prompt or the same source song fails more than twice, send us the track name and roughly when you tried it. That is usually enough for us to find the job in our logs.

Cover quality depends heavily on the source recording. A track with heavy instrumentation, a live crowd, or two singers overlapping gives the model much less to work with than a clean studio vocal, and the result drifts toward the original singer.

Only with their permission. Cloning a voice you do not have the right to use — a public figure, an artist, someone you know — is not allowed under our Terms, and accounts that do it can be suspended.

Write to support@overdub.app with a link to the track and something that establishes the voice is yours. We take these seriously and act on them ahead of the normal queue.
What you generate from your own prompt and your own voice is yours to post. A cover is a different matter: the underlying song still belongs to whoever wrote and recorded it, and platforms like YouTube and Spotify apply their own rules to AI covers regardless of what we say here.

Free accounts get a limited number of generations; a subscription raises that limit and it resets with each billing period. Failed generations are not counted against you — if your balance looks wrong after a failure, tell us and we will put it back.
Use the cancellation page. It takes about a minute and asks only for the email you subscribed with.

Email contact@overdub.app with the date and amount. Please write to us before opening a dispute with your bank: we can refund a wrong charge directly, and that is far faster than a chargeback, which takes weeks and locks the account while it runs.
Send the request from the email address on the account to support@overdub.app. Deletion removes your generated tracks and any voice you cloned, and it cannot be undone — download anything you want to keep first.

Writing to us about a charge? Include the date, the amount and the email you subscribed with. That is almost always everything we need, and it saves a round of questions.
